This is sort of a "catch-all" page for data and tables
that didn't really fit anywhere else. If you're looking for
some bit of information along these lines that isn't covered here, drop

I've got an old rollfilm Polaroid camera. What are the actual
shutter speeds and apertures represented by those exposure numbers
that appear in that little window?
For the original Model 95:

For the Models 95A, 95B, 100 (rollfilm), 150, 160, 700, and 800:
Note that the 95B, 150, 160, and 800 are calibrated in EV numbers,
while the other models use the older "Light Value" settings

I've got a folding automatic pack camera. What are the actual aperture
settings (f/stops) used in its various exposure modes?
This table is applicable only for cameras having a Scene Selector and
four film speed (ASA) settings. Please note that this information is
partially based on casual observation rather than by any 'official'
documentation, so its accuracy is certainly in question.
Film Speed |
Scene Selector |
Aperture |

Dull Day/Flash |
f/8.8 |

Bright Sun Only |
f/17.5 |
150 |

NOTES related to the above table:
- The lens opening selections for 150 and 300 speed films on the
Model 100 and the 200-series cameras (i.e. 230, 240, 250)
appear to be wider by one
stop from the table above (i.e. ASA 150 / Dull Day would be f/8.8 rather
than f/12.5).
- The ASA 3000 / Outdoor selection on the Model 360 is f/60.
- User Tip: You can use this chart to gain wider flexibility in
exposure choices-- for instance, if you'd like to shoot regular 75-speed
Polacolor at f/35, you could set the speed dial to 300, the Scene
Selector to Bright Sun Only, and the Lighten/Darken control four marks
(all the way) towards Lighten. Remember that each mark represents
about 1/2 stop of exposure compensation (the heavier marks on some
cameras' L/D dials thus represent one full stop of exposure compensation).
What kind of batteries does my Polaroid camera and/or flashgun need?
